UWMC North­west has given notice of an intent to change the require­ments for reserve nurses. The highlights the hospital is proposing are a 4 shift per month avail­ability as well as some weekend avail­ability. WSNA there­fore, sent a demand to bargain and will be entering into mid-term bargaining with your employer. We are looking for your input and partic­i­pa­tion. We are looking for several reserve nurses who would be willing to join in the negoti­a­tions. (Reserve nurses who may partic­i­pate in bargaining are those who are members and have met the 350 hour require­ment to be included in the bargaining unit.) The possible dates are:

  • Tuesday, Oct.6: 3:30 – 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 7: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 8: 1 – 3:30 p.m.
