On Tuesday, Aug. 18, the King County Council voted unani­mously to approve your interim collec­tive bargaining agree­ment that was negoti­ated earlier this year. This includes a 1.5 percent wage increase for the first six months of 2020 plus an additional 1.5 percent wage increase for the last six months of 2020. Wage increases are retroac­tive to Jan. 1, 2020. Look for this wage increase in September or no later than October.

All super­vi­sors in the bargaining unit are eligible for these wage increases. Under­stand that we will begin contract bargaining again in September for a new contract. If you want a better contract with better benefits, you should be a member. If you are not, there is no better time to join.
